This Privacy Notice for Salon Renter LLC (“Salon Renter,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how we collect, use, store, and share (“process”) your personal information when you use our services (“Services”), which include:

• Using our mobile applications
• Submitting inquiries or tour requests about salon listings
• Receiving transactional SMS, email, or phone communications related to your use of the platform
• Interacting with us through marketing, sales, events, or affiliated platforms

Our Messaging Policy explains how we use text messages and related channels when you contact a listing or request a tour. It is incorporated into this notice by reference for mobile and messaging-specific practices.

If you submit an inquiry or tour request, we collect your message, contact details, and listing context.

Do we use AI or automated decision-making? Yes. We use AI-driven tools and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Go High Level) to streamline customer support, generate personalized content, optimize marketing communications, and help match users with salon listings.

Do we sell your data? No. We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, SMS and CRM providers for inquiry follow-up) and with salon owners when you choose to contact them about a listing.

Text messages and mobile data If you opt in through our forms, we and the relevant salon owner may send transactional SMS about your inquiry. We do not sell mobile contact data. See Messaging Policy and the Mobile messaging data section below.

Is your data secure? While no system is 100% secure, we implement technical and organizational safeguards to help protect your data.

What are your rights? Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and opt out of certain uses.

What information do we collect?

A. Information you provide

This may include:

• Contact info (name, email, phone)
• Account credentials (username, password)
• Billing details (via Stripe)
• Professional information (job title, license #, EIN)
• Profile details (uploaded images, preferences)
• Inquiry and tour-request content (your message, preferred dates/times, profession, timeline)
• Consent choices (including agreement to Terms, this Privacy Notice, and our Messaging Policy)
• Content shared in public forums or listings

B. Information from third parties

When you use third-party logins (Google, Facebook, etc.), we collect:

• Your public profile data
• Email address
• Associated metadata authorized by you

C. Automated information collection

We may collect:

• IP address, device/browser type
• Location data (if enabled)
• Site behavior (pages viewed, clicks, searches)
• Log data from our servers and integrations

D. AI & automation systems

We use AI tools and automations through platforms like Zapier, Go High Level, and others to:

• Route leads to salon owners
• Automate onboarding and communication (including SMS and email follow-up where you have consented)
• Generate custom social media content
• Analyze user behavior to improve listings and matching

Any data processed via AI or automation is handled with appropriate safeguards and only for stated purposes.

How do we use your information?

We use your data to:

• Register and manage accounts
• Communicate about your account and services
• Match renters with listings and deliver your inquiries to salon owners
• Send transactional SMS, email, or calls about inquiries and tours (where you have agreed)
• Provide automated responses to inquiries
• Generate marketing materials (e.g., via AI content tools)
• Improve platform performance and services
• Meet legal obligations

We do not use AI for profiling or decision-making that has a legal or significant impact without your explicit consent.

When do we share your data?

We share data with:

• Salon owners and listing contacts when you submit an Ask a Question or tour request, so they can respond to you
• Service providers (e.g., Stripe, hosting, analytics, marketing partners, automation and SMS platforms such as Go High Level / LeadConnector)
• Business affiliates (only those under similar privacy obligations)
• Law enforcement or regulatory bodies (if required by law)
• Other users, if you post in public areas or opt to share data with matched salon owners

We do not sell your personal data.

Mobile messaging data

When you submit an inquiry or tour request and agree to our terms, you may receive transactional text messages from Salon Renter and/or the salon owner about that inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS; reply HELP for help. Details are in our Messaging Policy.

Mobile information will not be shared with, sold to, or disclosed to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may share your phone number and inquiry details with the salon owner you contacted solely so they can respond to your request, not for their unrelated marketing unless they obtain separate consent from you.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined. We may retain certain information as required by law, for fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes. Unused account data is typically deleted or anonymized after 3 months of inactivity. SMS opt-in records may be retained as required for compliance (often several years).

Security

We use SSL, encryption, access controls, and internal review processes to help safeguard your data. However, no method of transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure. You use our Services at your own risk.

Minors

Salon Renter is not intended for use by individuals under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor without parental consent, we will promptly delete it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CPRA/CCPA), you may have rights to:

• Access or update your data
• Delete your data (“Right to be forgotten”)
• Object to processing or restrict data use
• Opt out of marketing or certain data sharing
• Export your data in machine-readable format
• Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any message we send

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze site traffic, and deliver relevant advertisements.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which means:

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager load on every page but operate in cookieless, restricted mode by default. They count anonymous pageviews without setting cookies or identifying you personally until you provide consent.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel and DataShopper do NOT load at all until you explicitly grant marketing consent. These tools share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• Microsoft Clarity loads to help us improve site usability.
• LeadConnector loads to power our live chat and CRM features.

When you visit our site, you will see a cookie consent banner with the following options:

• Accept All – Enables full analytics tracking with cookies and loads marketing pixels
• Reject All – Analytics continues in cookieless mode only; no marketing pixels load
• Customize – Choose which cookie categories to enable

Social logins

If you use Facebook or Google to register, we access only the permissions you authorize. Data shared from these platforms is governed by their privacy policies.

California privacy notice (CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

• Request what data we collect and how it’s used
• Request deletion of personal data
• Opt out of data sharing for advertising
• Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

We do not “sell” personal data as defined under CPRA. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share limited data with service providers under strict contracts.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: You can opt out of data sharing for advertising purposes at any time by clicking the cookie icon at the bottom of any page and selecting “Do Not Sell My Info.”

Do-not-track and Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as required by California law. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we automatically opt you out of analytics and marketing cookies.

Do-Not-Track (DNT): We do not respond to legacy browser-based Do-Not-Track signals due to lack of industry standardization. However, our GPC compliance provides equivalent or greater privacy protection.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in technology, law, or business practices (including our entity name or contact details). We will post the updated notice on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may notify you via email or in-app notice.
