Rent your chair now or start with a commission pay and move into a rental position when you are ready.  Upon arriving at the salon, your guests will be greeted by our receptionist.  We are a salon that offers employment or chair rental and right now, we have about 1/2 and 1/2. We all share towels, capes and client robes. We have 5  shampoo sinks and we use and recommend Redken & Paul Mitchell on our backbars. These are also for use by everyone. Our receptionist is available about 30 hours a week to help with towels, phones and greeting guests. We carry Amika, Paul Mitchell, Matrix and Redken on our retail shelves. Renters and employees get commission on all of their retail sales. Everyone can work their own hours even outside of the regular salon hours. As a renter you can charge your own prices & collect your own money.   

If you work with us as a renter we are offering  a move-in special to help get you settled. Your first month of rent is compliments of A Better Cut Salon. If you come to us ready to be an employee, we will do what we can for you to help get you up and running with new your established clients and new ones.                                 

Happy People make People Happy. We work hard to create a culture that is comfortable & welcoming but is built on integrity and honest values. We have a great mix of team members that range in age from young to older. Many have worked with us anywhere from 10 to 39 years. 

We have an amazing team that loves to learn & create. We offer in- house education 2 or 3 times a year but we are always learning from each other. The salon, A Better Cut Salon, is owned and operated by Mike & Lisa Lowe and we established it in 1985. We both work at the salon on a full time basis. 

The location of the salon is convenient to I-95 and the Turnpike. We are also centrally located to Keiser University, the airport, PBA University, Downtown WPB and an easy ride from the western communities.
